‘Brothers’ is a track I wrote following the U.K. and U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Even our government’s own foreign affairs committee described this action as “a disaster” and “a betrayal of our partners in the country”.

They went on to say and I could only agree “we appear to have not thought through our responsibility to those who have worked with us in adopting and promoting our values and who now, because of our withdrawal, are at risk”.
