The ffuuson project is to be featured in ‘Folk Rocks’.
‘Folk Rocks’ is EU-funded project, supported by MOST – The Bridge For Balkan Music, with the goal of bringing back Albanian traditional music to the mainstream. You can get more information about ‘Folk Rocks’ at folkrocks.org.
The latest ffusion project release ‘the ffusion project – Albanian Polyphony’ from David Cummins is due for release on the 17th of April. Featuring the Albanian Iso-polyphonic grpup ‘Thesaret Labe’, this four track EP aims to bring Iso-polyphonic singing to a wider audience by incorporating this unique music with the sounds of ambient and progressive rock – whist still staying true to the traditions of this ancient style of singing.
Mastered by Ste kerry, the tracks feature contributions by:
Guitarist Altin Gjoni, drummer Joe Savage and vocalist Eleanor Ross.

My new four track EP or Album if you prefer ‘the ffusion project – portfolio’ is now available to stream or download on all online platforms. The tracks are cross-genre and world fusion music covering a diverse range of themes including war. the destruction of the rainforest – and a musical interpretation of Hieronymus Bosch’s painting ‘The Garden of Earthy Delights.
Released on the Futureworks Music label, ‘the ffusion project – portfolio’ features some great work by guitarist Altin Gjoni.
